JEROMESVILLE, Ohio (3/19/24)--Hillsdale Local Schools is thrilled to announce that kindergarten registration for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year is officially open, starting April 1st! If your little one is ready to take their first steps into the world of education, now is the perfect time to enroll them in our kindergarten program.
Please register for kindergarten by May 10, 2024. This will assist us in our planning efforts for the 2024-2025 school year. Thank you for your cooperation and prompt action!
To ensure a smooth registration process, here's what you need to know:
Age Requirement:
To be eligible for kindergarten admission, your child must turn 5 years old on or before August 1, 2024.
Required Documents:
We kindly ask families to prepare the following documents for registration:
- Certified birth certificate of the child (not the hospital record)
- Original Social Security card (requested, not required)
- Complete immunization record
- Proof of residency (e.g., lease agreement, electric bill, gas bill, etc.)
- Custody/adoption papers if applicable
How to Register:

Safety Town Details:
We're excited to offer Safety Town from August 5th to 8th, 2024, a fantastic opportunity for incoming kindergarteners to learn about safety in a fun and interactive environment. To register for Safety Town, simply fill out the forms available on Final Forms and bring them along with a $25 fee to the PK-6 office or mail them to:

The deadline for Safety Town registration is Wednesday, May 29th, 2024. Be sure to secure your child's spot before this date! Unfortunately, no late registrations can be accepted.
