
JEROMESVILLE, Ohio (9/21/23)--Salsa Chicken served over White Rice made history in our brand-new Life Skills lab, marking a milestone as the first recipe our grades 9-12 culinary students made!
It was THE day for our #FALCONflock to roll up their sleeves, work together in groups, and put their culinary knowledge to the test with our shiny new appliances and cookware.
It was a smashing success!
They've been hard at work leading up to this moment, mastering essential skills like safety, sanitation, and precise ingredient measurement.
They even got to witness Mrs. Grissinger's incredible Bubble Bread demo last week!
This is just the beginning of their culinary adventures. From here, they'll be cooking up a storm almost weekly, broadening their comfort levels and taste buds.
They'll be addressing more delicious topics, including nutrition, eating habits' impact on health, food allergies, deciphering food labels, and so much more!
