Cafeteria Prices for 2023-2024 School Year:

Breakfast (includes milk)

  • Grades PK-6: $1.50
  • Grades 7-12:  $1.75
  • Reduced Breakfast: $0.30  free for those who qualify based on approval through filling out the free/reduced lunch form

Lunch (includes milk)

  • Grades K-6:   $2.75
  • Grades 7-12: $3.00
  • Reduced Lunch: $0.40  free for those who qualify based on approval through filling out the free/reduced lunch form
  • Adult Lunch (including salads): $4.00
  • Milk only: $0.75
  • A la carte: items are priced individually

For families who qualify, free meals are available. Familes must complete the Free-and Reduced-Lunch application to determine eligibility.

In addition, school fees for the 2023-2024 school year are also waived for the families who qualify.

***We Need Your Help!

We are working to qualify for additional Federal Funding. Did you know the district's Federal Funds are directly connected to the Free and Reduced-Lunch application you are asked to complete at the beginning of each year?

Many people choose not to complete this application because they do not need assistance with lunch costs but that could be taking away a significant amount of money from the district.  

We ask that you please complete the forms today even if you do not need or want to use the assistance.

Completion of this application could help the district qualify for additional Federal funding and grant money that can be used to benefit all students in the district. 

The information shared in the application is completely confidential and is sent directly to the Food Service Coordinator for HLSD. 

The process is easy.

  • Log into the Pay Schools account to complete the application. 
  • The student ID that is requested is the same as the lunch code.
    • If you do not have a code, please contact Ora Flickinger using the information below.
  • All information is 100% confidential and is not shared. 
  • Hillsdale students who are free- or reduced-lunch eligible are eligible to have their school fees waived.

Locating the Free and Reduced-Lunch Application

On the right-hand side of the screen in the white section, there is a section three-quarters of the way down the column labeled "School District." Under that is the Free and Reduced-Lunch Application.
