JEROMESVILLE, Ohio (9/11/23)--Hillsdale Local Schools introduces its initiative "Student and Teacher-Growth Wednesdays."
This instruction is based on the Ohio Department of Education's "Safety and Violence Education for Students," which is in compliance with the state of Ohio's House Bill 123.
"Falcon Time" is a monthly, two-hour program focused on student and teacher growth. It will be held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month.
Students will particpate in lessons created by our guidance counselors and school liaisons in the following areas.
Grades 7-12
- suicide prevention
- compliments
- safety violence
- social inclusion
- bullying prevention
- healthy relationships
- positive affirmation
The remainder of the school day will follow a 2-hour delay class schedule.
