Honoring Excellence: The Annual Scholastic Recognition Reception

JEROMESVILLE, Ohio — Hillsdale is proud to announce the upcoming Scholastic Recognition Reception, a night dedicated to celebrating the hard work, late-night study sessions, and academic milestones of our outstanding students.

The ceremony will take place on Thursday, April 16, at 7:30 PM in the school auditorium. We invite students, families, and faculty to join us in honoring these achievements.

Important: Verify Your Status

To ensure the ceremony runs smoothly, all potential honorees are asked to complete a quick "record check" before the big night.

• Check the List: A preliminary list of award recipients is currently posted on the school website below and within Google Classroom.
• Verify Details: Please double-check that your name is spelled correctly and that the number of years awarded is accurate.
• Missing Names: If you believe you qualify for an award but do not see your name on the list, please contact Mr. Scott Call, guidance counselor, immediately to review your academic record.

Event Logistics & Attendance

Academic awards are a significant honor, and as such, attendance at the program is required to receive your award.

• Absences: If you are unable to attend, you must clear your absence in advance. Please notify Dr. Tom Selvage as soon as possible if you cannot make it.
• Student Athletes: We understand that spring schedules are busy! If you have a sporting event on Thursday evening, you are still encouraged to join the reception. If you are short on time, you are welcome to attend the program in your team uniform.
• Dress Code: For all other students, the dress code is business casual. While you don't need a tuxedo, we ask that you "dress up" to mark the occasion—please, no jeans.

Featured Keynote Speaker

We are thrilled to welcome back a familiar face to deliver this year’s keynote address. The ceremony will feature Mr. Keith Yeater, a distinguished Hillsdale alumnus and current School Board President. His journey from these halls to leadership in our community serves as a perfect inspiration for our current scholars.
