Title IX
Hillsdale Local Schools is committed to providing a safe and equitable learning environment for all students and staff.
By federal and state law and in alignment with the Board Policy on Nondiscrimination, the Hillsdale Local School District is committed to maintaining an environment where all individuals are treated with dignity and respect.
Discrimination or harassment based on race, color, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, religion, sex (including sexual harassment), economic status, age, disability, military status, or legally acquired genetic information is strictly prohibited.
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 is a federal law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in any education program or activity operated by recipients of federal financial assistance. This includes protection against sexual harassment, gender-based discrimination, and unequal opportunities in athletics.
