Cell Phone Policy (House Bill 96)
A new state law requires all Ohio schools to adopt a cell phone policy that limits use during the instructional day, including class time, transitions, recess, lunch, and field trips.
We understand this is a change for some families, and we appreciate your support as students adjust to this new routine. Students may still bring a cell phone to school, as long as it is turned off and stored in their lockers from 8 AM to 3 PM. If you need to get a message to your child during the school day, please email them or call the school office, and we’ll be happy to help.
We want to assure you that this change will not limit the meaningful use of technology in our classrooms. Students will continue to engage in learning experiences that foster innovation, empower them to grow, and encourage collaboration without the distractions personal devices can bring.
As always, we value your partnership in helping every Falcon Take Flight.
