We maintain a FIVE-YEAR PLAN to help the Board of Education in shaping the future of our district
JEROMESVILLE, Ohio--Strategic planning is a forward-thinking process that allows Hillsdale Local Schools to set clear goals for the future and outline the steps needed to achieve them. The process looks at where we are now and where we want to be in five years—focusing usually on three to four key areas like academics, school culture, and financial sustainability.
The Board of Education uses this plan to guide decisions and ensure the district is moving in a direction that best serves our students, staff, and community.
We invite anyone passionate about improving our school community and shaping the future of Hillsdale Schools to join our strategic planning team! There's no need to sign up—just show up!

The committee meets four (4) times yearly on the second Monday of September, December, March, and May at 6:30 PM in the grades 7 and 8 academic pod.

We began the process of creating a new five (5) year strategic plan in 2023. As part of the new plan, a small group of community members, parents, and district staff utilized community survey results and district data to update the district’s mission statement:
