For Permanent Bus Changes

Bus Change Form 

Please allow two business days for changes to take effect.

Students are required to be:

• dropped off at the same location on all days in attendance
• picked up at the same location on all days in attendance 
• While pick up and drop off may be different in the morning and afternoon, they must stay consistent.
  • For example, a student may have a pick up at their home address on all days in attendance and be dropped off at a different address on all days in attendance.
• Student requests to ride home in the afternoon with another student or an alternate stop are not allowed.

Fevers

• The school district requests parents to conduct a wellness check before their children board the school bus.
  • If a student has a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher, they should not be sent to school.

Bus Stop

• Riders should arrive at the stop five minutes before the scheduled pick-up time.

Riding the Bus

• Use provided hand sanitizer when boarding the bus.
• Go directly to your assigned seat.
• Windows will be open for ventilation, weather permitting.
• Follow the driver's rules when entering and exiting the bus.
• Please read the Student Code of Conduct so you and your child understand their role in making school buses the safest form of transportation.

Vehicles

• will be parked at the high school when not in use.
• will be sanitized after every run.

If Hillsdale is ordered to close per state or local authorities, we will declare it unsafe to transport any students, whether in-district or out-of-district.

• On days that Hillsdale Local Schools is not in session, but the Career Center is, Hillsdale will provide transportation from the new facility to the Career Center for all Hillsdale students who need it.

  • Students will be returned to Hillsdale Local Schools at the end of the day.

  • Students should arrive at the event entrance between 7:30 AM and 7:45 AM, with departure promptly at 7:50 AM

• On days that both schools are in session, students will be transported via their regular routes.
