Students at summer school are working on creating their own board games, from the concept to packaging to marketing.
These #FALCONflock students started with creating the game concept and the rules.
Their gameplay must incorporate the use of a wireless, Bluetooth-connected Finchbot. This will require writing the programming for it to move through the game.
To help them create their games, they read about game pioneer Milton Bradley and researched other games and toys, including the Super Soaker to see how the parts all come together.
Cooperatively, they recreated the game Aeropong to better understand the process.
They have worked on designing the game board, which will be printed using a vinyl cutter, and the playing pieces, some of which will be made using a 3-D printer.
