Remote Day on February 19

JEROMESVILLE (2/12/21)--Hillsdale Schools received confirmation today that its employees will receive their first COVID-19 vaccination on Friday, February 19.

Due to teacher absences off and on throughout the day paired with a substitute shortage, all classes will be held remotely on Friday. The Falcon Learning Center will not be available.

The learning expectations on that day remain the same as all of the district's scheduled remote days. Teachers will share with their students and/or families the lessons that are to be completed.

Over seventy percent of staff have registered for the vaccine, which will be given at the Ashland County Career Center, in coordination with Drug Mart. The site is hosting the vaccinations for Hillsdale, Loudonville and Career Center employees by appointment throughout the day.
